TAG City run tournaments for individual members and TAG Team members. You can play as an individual member or a TAG team member, depending on how the tournament is set up.
Joining a TAG Team simply means that you will get twice the fun out of your membership.
About TAG Teams
TAG Teams are groups of four to seven TAG City members who join together to participate as a TAG Team in games, competitions and tournaments at TAG City.
When playing in a tournament, the individual scores of each TAG Team member are combined with other team members scores to give a total score. The TAG Team with the highest combined score usually wins the tournament.
CASH Prize Tournaments: TAG Teams are able to participate in our monthly CASH Prize tournaments. There will be several CASH Prize tournaments each month.
Any TAG City Member can start their own TAG Team. The member who starts the team becomes the team leader. The team leader is responsible for recruiting new members to TAG City to fill positions in his or her team.
Building Your Team
1. You are only able to include members in your TAG Team if you were the person who referred them to the TAG City site.
When recruiting team members, make sure they sign up for TAG City membership using your specially coded link (found in your members area). If they don't use your link they need to type in your EXACT TAG City member name. If they type it in wrong you will NOT be credited as having sent them to the TAG City site. There is a $10 fee for TAG City adminstration to sort out typo's in referrals.
2. After recruiting at least three new members to the TAG City site, you are ready to set up your TAG Team.
In the lower right position of the Members page you will see a TAG Teams link. Click the link to be taken to the page where you get to name your team and also select members of the team.
3. Select a name for your TAG Team and save it. Next select members for your team from the drop down list of new members you have referred to TAG City. That's all there is to creating a TAG Team.
4. As leader of the team you will be able to message all team members from in the messaging section of your TAG City Members area. Each team member will also be able to message other team members either as a group or as individuals.
